Course multihull sailing

Catamaranschool Zeehelden offers a complete multihull sailing course for adults. The course takes place on three consecutive Saturdays and follows a structured curriculum. You will get step by step instructions on how to sail our Nacra catamarans on the North sea. There will be one instructor per two students. Each two students share one boat. In case it is not possible to sail due to bad weather, a forth Saturday in the schedule will used as the back-up day. The course has three diploma levels:

  • beginner level
  • intermediate level
  • advanced level

Catamaranschool Zeehelden has developed a unique sailing course with a focus on sailing coastal waters. Aside from this focus, there will also be overlap with backwater (multihull) sailing. Because every student has a unique learning curve, we carefully keep track of your progress. This way you will always know what skills you have mastered and what skills need more practice. The course has a large practical part, but also a smaller theoretical section. To obtain the diploma at the end of the course, both the practical as well as the theoretical part must be mastered.

After graduating in one of the three levels, it is possible to rent a boat at the Catamaranschool. You can read at the level description under which circumstances rental is possible. The rental prices can be found on page catamaran rental
