Surf camp
Surf camp Wassenaar? It has been known for some time that the North Sea is good for surfing. But not many people know that the Wassenaarse Slag is also a great ‘surfing spot’. Wave surfing and bodyboarding have been important activities of Catamaran School Zeehelden for years.
Since 2017 it has also been possible to go to a surf camp at Zeehelden aan de Wassenaarse slag. Whether you are surfing for the first time or have already mastered the unique surfing feeling, you have come to the right place!

De leukste waterweek in het jaar!
During the week we have a varied program. Under the guidance of experienced surf instructors, surfing will mainly take place on surfboards and bodyboards, but SUPing, (surf) kayaking, and beach games and sports will also be discussed. In any case, being outside on the beach and having water fun in the sea are our top priorities!
In addition, attention will also be paid to theory lessons during the week. For example, an explanation is given about the currents in the North Sea, the waves and surf and the operation of the tides.
For whom?
The surf camps are for water lovers from 8 to 16 years old. Participants must at least have a swimming diploma A or a comparable diploma.
Important data
You can choose between a five-day surf camp and a three-day surf camp.
The surf camps take place during the summer holidays from Monday to Friday or from Monday to Wednesday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The dates of the 2025 season are as follows.
- July 21st to July 25th or July 21st to July 23rd
- July 28th to August 1st or July 28th to July 30st
- August 4th to August 8th or August 4th to August 6th
- August 18th to August 22nd or August 18th to August 20st
- August 25th to August 29th or August 25th to August 27th
Costs
The costs are €225 for three days and €365 for five days. This includes all necessary materials, daily lunches, snacks and drinks, and a final pizza party (for five days).
